Greta du Velay (France) main partner

The GRETA du Velay is a public training organisation under the Ministry of Education. It is a group of 21 educational establishments from the South of the Auvergne Region. As a training provider, it is specialised on vocational and continuous training in various fields (audio-visual, catering, cooking, building, healthcare, vocational integration, rural development, environment, services, accounting, management, computers, languages, industry, maintenance…). Since 1992 it has developped open and distance learning activities for target groups located in rural isolated areas. This activity is completed since 1998 by the development of e-learning activities. The GRETA has participated in several transnational activities in these related fields and has developped contacts and expertise related to the integration of IT in education and training.

The International Training Centre for Women (I.T.W.) is an independent non-governmental organisation run by and for women. It was founded as an initiative in 1990, a time-period in which entrepreneurship had just begun to offer new challenges to women in Europe, to address the needs of women worldwide in the area of management and entrepreneurship training, skill development, consultancy and research. I.T.W. has offered professional training programs to over 2500 women from Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Since its beginning, I.T.W. has combined sound programming with a vision to enhance and strengthen the economic and decision-making position of women, facilitating gender equality and empowerment.

Its members share long - term technological goals and closely co-ordinate their activities for research, training and information dissemination.

Created in 1993 from four existing Institutions dedicated to training and technologies in agricultural and rural sectors, ENESAD is an establishment which depends on the ministry of agriculture.

Its missions includes vocational training, engineering and research on the following domains :

- sciences and techniques of agronomy and agribusiness, rural economy and sociology,

- sciences and techniques of education, training and communication.

It produces, publishes and disseminates documents in book and multimedia format, taking an active part in the diffusion of new knowledge in science and technology (EDUCAGRI-edition)
KEK ARGO (Grecia)

The KEK ARGO is being activated at the sector of vocational and continuous training since 1991. As a training provider, it has realized programs in the fields: Business Administration and Economy, Technical Plans, Tourism, Civilization, Information Technology and Computer Science. Since 1991, it has trained a large number of persons (graduates of high school, university graduates and persons who belong to sensitive social groups like under the age of 18 law-breakers, prisoners, women, etc).The KEK ARGO has participated in several transnational activities in these related fields and has realized training and research activities within the “KIN – WOMEN IN NETWORK”, “INTEGRA”, “EQUAL” initiatives.
